"Autumn Gold" Hans Hoffman 1957 oil

I have always been drawn to Hans Hoffman's paintings since my first oil painting class at Plymouth. In person, they are thick with paint and there are many underlying textures and layers of colors. I could look at one work for a long time. I just want to touch it and feel the paint. To some they are simple squares of color, but to me, it has energy, emotion.
