Last Monday, I went to the Desert Botanical Gardens with Joe's new camera, the Canon G10, in tote. There's a fantastic exhibit there of Chihuly's glass work until May. Now that I have seen it in the day, I would love love love to see it at night! I love the dichotomy between the natural and the unnatural - the beauty of the natural desert versus the beauty of the brightly colored blown glass. Some of the sculptures looked likethe glass version of the plant it was near. Others just looked beautiful because of the stark contrast between the shapes and colors of the plants and the sculptures.
